De wandelstokhouder met veer kan bevestigd worden aan de wandelstok, zodat deze bijvoorbeeld aan een tafelrand of balie kan worden gehangen. Men kan de wandelstok ook naast een tafel of balie plaatsen en de houder naar boven schuiven tot de houder aan de onderkant van de tafel of balie geklemd zit. De foamlaag aan beide zijden van de houder zorgt ervoor dat de houder niet van de tafel glijdt. De houder kan ook aan elleboogkrukken worden bevestigd.
