Op het album 'After The Hurricane - Greatest Hits & More' staan haar 15 grootste hits, waaronder 'World Of Hurt', 'The Great Escape', 'So Incredible', 'Miracle' en 'Hurricane'. Daarnaast bevat het album vier nieuwe nummers. Het album kijkt niet alleen terug op haar carriere tot nu toe, maar is tevens een vooruitblik op wat we nog van haar kunnen verwachten. 'Blue Bittersweet', de single van Ilse DeLange, is de titelsong van de Eyeworks speelfilm 'Het Diner'. De film is een bewerking van de gelijknamige bestseller van Herman Koch. Ilse schreef het nummer met topproducer Patrick Leonard (o.a. Madonna, Elton John, Rod Stewart), een oude bekende van Ilse; hij produceerde en schreef samen met haar bijna alle nummers van het album 'The Great Escape' uit 2006.
