De combinatie van een relatief dikke 15 mm messing kuip 42-strengs Carbon Steel Snappy Snares en een 23 mm geflensde Steel Mighty Hoop resulteert in een vette open krachtige klank die een duidelijke en gewenste buzz vertoont. De 1.5mm messing schelp wordt gecompleteerd door een zwarte nikkel finish met zwart nikkel hardware wat de TAMA SLP snare een opvallende look geeft. TAMA creëerde het Sound Lab Project Series zodat elke drummer een snare drum kan vinden die perfect bij zijn geluid past. Met de Black Brass Shell Snare Drum met Black Nickel finish als sluitsteen in je kit kun je de zoektocht wel afblazen.
