Het slimme, op zonne-energie werkende lasmasker beschikt over 2 lichtsensoren die de 2 instellingen van het innovatieve LCD-scherm beheersen. In de standaard 'clear' instelling heeft het scherm een verduistering in 3 niveaus, zodat u een goed zicht heeft op het werkstuk en de laspunten kunt lokaliseren. Wanneer u met het lassen begint en de lichtsensoren de boog detecteren, gaat het LCD-scherm binnen 0,5 ms automatisch in de 'donkere' instelling (11 verduisteringsniveaus) om uw ogen te beschermen tegen de schadelijke infrarood- en UV-stralen. Na het lassen gaat het scherm terug in de standaardinstelling, zodat u uw lassen kunt controleren. De helm werkt op zonne-energie.
