De Fischer DuoTec is geschikt voor hoge belastingen dankzij zijn 2 componenten. Hij is eenvoudig te monteren met kleine boordiameter en een korte dwarsligger, zelfs in dunne en geïsoleerde wanden. De plug klemt zich vast in het boorgat, zelfs zonder een schroef. Na het insteken vouwt de dwarsligger automatisch open achter het materiaal. De flexibele roestvrijstalen schroefadapter kan zowel met hout- als met metrische schroeven worden gebruikt. In vol materiaal gedraagt de DuoTec zich als expansieplug.
