De Olympus M. Zuiko Digital 1.4 extender is een 1,4x teleconverter met superieure optische eigenschappen. Deze converter is uiterst geschikt voor bijvoorbeeld het Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm f/2.8 PRO objectief. Door deze converter te gebruiken verander je deze lens in een 56-210mm F4.0. Hierbij blijf je een snelle autofocus en optimale scherpte houden terwijl je slechts 1 stop licht verliest. De 4/3 converter is tevens optimaal beschermd tegen de elementen. Ideaal voor als je buiten aan het fotograferen bent, zoals de natuurfotograaf die graag de brandpuntsafstand verlengt zonder daarbij grote concessies te doen qua prestaties. Deze 1,4 extender is stof- en spatwaterdicht. Zelfs bij extreem lage temperaturen kun je deze teleconverter probleemloos blijven gebruiken.
