Een uitzonderlijke wijn van Mezzacorona. Intens robijnrood. Met een karakteristieke fruitgeur van bosvruchten, kersen en wilde bramen, en spannende geuren als zwarte truffel en leer. Door oudering op hout heeft de wijn ook iets van vanille en specerijen. Een mooie concentratie, fluwelen tannines en een stevige structuur. Dit is in alle opzichten een klassewijn.

Een door-en-door dinerwijn. Een dergelijke kwaliteit verdient mooie gerechten. Dit kan een stuk mals rood vlees zijn (entrecôte, rib-eye, ossenhaas), wild, gerechten met truffel of oudere, smaakrijke kazen.

Past goed bij: gegrild rood vlees, wild, truffel, oude kazen.
