Hier in het zuiden van Frankrijk hebben de druiven extra voordeel van het zonnige klimaat. Zo ook de chardonnay druiven waar deze wijn van wordt gemaakt. Oorspronkelijk komt chardonnay uit de Franse Bourgogne, maar vanuit daar is hij verspreid over de hele wereld. Over het algemeen is deze wijn, gemaakt van chardonnay, wat voller en rijker van smaak. In deze droge witte wijn proef je de smaak van perzik, appel, citroen en vanille met wat hazelnoten en een vetje in de mond. Juist daarom combineert hij zo goed met vettige vis, zoals gerookte zalm. Ook lekker bij gerechten met varkensvlees of kip. In handige literfles.
