Wijnbeurs Emilio Hidalgo PX Sherry

De Pedro Ximenez van Emilio Hidalgo is stroperig, dik, licht geel/ bruin met een roestbruin diep hart. Een PX sherry vol weldadig zoete vruchten, krenten, honing, zoethout, tabak, walnoot en karamel. Uiterst complex en ondersteund door fijne zuren waardoor alle nuances van karamel, krenten en stroperige honing luxe goed tot uiting komen. De smaak is verleidelijk lekker en adembenemend lang. Bodegas Emilio Hidalgo werd opgericht in 1874 in het historische centrum van Jerez de la Frontera. In 1874 waren het de neven José en Emilio Hidalgo die het wijnhuis openden. Een leuk weetje is dat sommige van de oorspronkelijke solera's uit de jaren 1860 en 1870 zijn nog steeds in gebruik zijn. Hier worden nu enkele prachtige complexe wijnen mee geproduceerd. PX Sherry PX Sherry is een Spaanse dessertwijn die door middel van het solera-systeem wordt produceerd: een unieke rijpingstechniek waarmee jongere en oudere wijnen continu met elkaar gemengd worden. Dit proces kan wel zo'n drie tot vijf jaar
