Zon, zee, pasta, pizza, ijs, la dolce vita.In 2006 verruilt Bionda samen met haar man Alwin en zoontjes Mike, Robbie en Jim het koude Nederland voor een nieuw avontuur in het Italiaanse dorpje Montefiore dell'Aso in de regio Le Marche. Dat betekent: spraakverwarring, cultuurverschillen, het niet na komen van afspraken en de stress met betrekking tot het opstarten van een B&B in Italië, maar ook genieten. Van de zon, de Italiaanse gastvrijheid, de nieuwe Italiaanse vriendjes van de kinderen, het voetballen in Italië en de geweldige avonturen.
