Jesaja

Jesaja is een van de bekendste profeten uit de Bijbel. Hij wordt ook wel de 'evangelist van het Oude Testament' genoemd. De Heere riep Jesaja om Zijn Woord tot het volk Israël te brengen. Door deze opdracht werd de profeet een lastdrager. We ontmoeten Jesaja in dit boek op verschillende momenten: soms is hij bang, soms gaat hij gebukt onder een grote last.
