Het uur van de Jakhals

Mark, Paulien en Oma Boma willen een reisje maken naar Egypte. Ze stappen een Egyptisch reisagentschap binnen. De bediende schrikt wanneer hij Mark Vertongen ziet alsof hij hem herkent. Hij doet een geheimzinnig telefoontje alvorens onze vrienden te bedienen. Mark en Oma Boma vinden de prijzen voor een verblijf in Egypte wel wat aan de hoge kant. De reis gaat dus niet door. Maar dan doet de bediende hen een aanlokkelijk voorstel: ze krijgen zoveel korting, dat ze vrijwel gratis naar Egypte kunnen. Het gezelschap vertrekt enkele dagen later. Aangekomen in CaÃ¯ro bezoeken ze meteen de bekendste monumenten. Maar ze worden in de gaten gehouden door geheimzinnige figuren...
