De verdwijning van Oma Boma

Mark besluit een detectivebureau op te richten. Hij heeft in het verleden al ervaring gehad als detective, aan de zijde van inspecteur Porei. De eerste klant die zich meldt, is Fernand. Maar wanneer Fernand zijn probleem probeert uit te leggen, duikt Oma Boma op: Balthazar is verdwenen! Al snel blijkt dat de hond is ontvoerd. Even later ondergaat Oma Boma hetzelfde lot. Zij verdwijnt op mysterieuze wijze. Mark mag meteen zijn tanden zetten in deze moeilijke opdracht. Maar al zijn onderzoeken leiden tot niets. Op aanraden van Paulien schakelt hij dan maar inspecteur Porei in. Op een dag komt er een dreigbrief van de ontvoerders. Ze eisen drie miljoen Bomaworsten voor de vrijlating van Oma Boma. Welk mysterie gaat hierachter schuil?
