Voetbalvaders

Wanneer hun kinderen in hetzelfde voetbalteam worden ingedeeld, komen acht vaders die totaal verschillend zijn naast elkaar langs de lijn terecht. De neurotische Erik probeert te voorkomen dat zijn zoon keeper wordt, want hij moet de nieuwe Messi worden. De ambitieuze Barry wil tegen elke prijs succesvol zijn als trainer van het team. Gaandeweg het seizoen ontstaat er een wonderlijke vriendschap die steeds hechter wordt; de mannen juichen,schreeuwen, lachen en huilen met elkaar.
