Zand

De oude wereld ligt begraven onder een diepe laag zand. Duinstad Springston wordt afgeschermd door een grote muur, maar niemand weet wat zich achter die muur bevindt. In een gevaarlijke wereld met meer criminelen dan water proberen vier broers en zussen zich staande te houden. Palmer is vastbesloten zich te bewijzen. In een wereld omgeven door zand, kan dat maar op een manier: het levensgevaarlijke zandduiken. Palmer staat op het punt een hele gevaarlijke duik te doen, in de hoop kostbaarheden uit de oude wereld uit het zand te kunnen halen. Wat hij niet weet, is dat diep onder het zand de waarheid ligt. Een waarheid die de wereld op haar kop zal zetten.
