Wind van weleer - Anneke Haasnoot

Lily Touwen (1926) werd als kind van blanke ouders geboren in voormalig Nederlands-Indië. De repatriëring na WOII had tot gevolg dat ze ontheemd in Holland belandde. De heimwee naar haar geboorteland bleef altijd een rol spelen in haar leven. Na 1975 legde zich vooral toe op het schrijven van proza en poëzie. Voor die tijd schilderde ze en besteedde ze aandacht aan haar gezin. Anneke Haasnoot dwaalt al jaren rond in Letterland. Ze hield zich bezig met het schrijven van proza, poëzie en columns. Jureerde bij wedstrijden poëzie voor kinderen en gaf workshops aan middelbare scholieren. Als lid van het dichterscollectief Polder||Poëzie promootte ze literatuur. Dit is haar eerste biografie. Het gedicht WIND VAN WELEER van Lily Touwen eindigt met: ' en zet mij zachtjes neer.' Dat is wat de auteur van deze biografie heeft geprobeerd bij deze bijzonder jeugdige en op 90- jarige leeftijd nog steeds gracieuze verschijning. Met recht kun je haar, Lily, een juweel uit De Gordel van Smaragd noemen.
