'Floris' is een van de meest succesvolle televisie-series van Nederlandse bodem. De serie werd in 1968 bedacht door scenarioschrijver Gerard Soeteman en geregisseerd door Paul Verhoeven. De acteurs Rutger Hauer en Jos Bergman speelden de hoofdrollen Floris en Sindala. In dit boek staan nooit eerder gepubliceerde verhalen en foto's die het complete verhaal van deze legendarische serie vertellen. 'Floris' is vaak herhaald, genereerde altijd wéér hoge kijkcijfers en hele generaties zijn er mee opgegroeid. 'Floris' spreekt nog altijd volop tot de verbeelding.
