Brave New Books 'Daar ben ik dan'

'Daar ben ik dan' Maria Rondèl studeerde zang aan het Rotterdams Conservatorium. In 1962 behaalde zij de akte Muziekonderwijs B en in 1964 het solistendiploma. Van 1963 tot 1978 maakte zij deel uit van het Nederlands Kamerkoor o.l.v. Felix de Nobel. Zij soleerde in verschillende oratoria en gaf recitals in het romantische en moderne repertoire. Uiteindelijk specialiseerde zij zich in Basel in muziek uit de Middeleeuwen en Renaissance. Daarna zong zij bij Studio Laren o.l.v. Marijke Ferguson. Met haar eigen ensemble 'Musike Merlant' trad Maria op bij vele radio- en televisieprogramma's. In 1990 introduceerde zij in Nederland de nieuwe stemtechniek 'the belting voice'. Voor de European Voice-Teachers Association 'EVTA' hield ze lezingen in Amsterdam, Oslo en San Francisco over het zingen van popmuziek en musicalrepertoire. Masterclasses en workshops gaf zij ondermeer in Zwitserland, Duitsland, Finland en Noorwegen. Maria was eveneens hoofdvak docente zang en methodiek aan de
