Eén blik op de onbekende man in de boetiek, en Susan zet alle voorzichtigheid overboord. Ze brengt haar lippen naar zijn oor en fluistert: 'Woensdagavond acht uur, in de bar van Hotel Versailles.' Het wordt een woensdagavond om nooit te vergeten. Een avond waarop zij de touwtjes in handen heeft... Daarna kan David nog maar aan één ding denken: seks, seks en nog eens seks. Nog nooit eerder heeft hij zoiets opwindends meegemaakt. Na die eerste avond volgen er meer. Om beurten mogen ze de regels van het spel bepalen. Alles lijkt perfect, maar toch speelt er voortdurend één vraag door zijn hoofd: wie is deze onbekende vrouw, van wie hij alleen weet dat ze Susan heet?
