Met de Arturia Beatstep Pro stuur je al je hardware en software aan met 1 controller. Je schakelt snel tussen meerdere drumcomputers, virtuele instrumenten en (modulaire) synthesizers. Hierdoor hoef je niet op en neer te lopen tussen apparaten en is er meer ruimte voor improvisatie. Je gebruikt de CV/gate functie om het maximale uit je synthesizers te halen. Hiermee kom je tot geluiden die eerst niet mogelijk waren om te creëren. Dankzij het intuïtieve ontwerp leer je snel met de controller werken. Je hoeft geen submenu's te activeren om functies te ontgrendelen. De sequencer bestaat uit 2 melodische sequencers en uit 1 drumsequencer. Je programmeert sequences tot 64 stappen lang.
