De AlphaTheta DDJ-FLX2 + Pioneer DJ HDJ-CUE1 is een beginnersset waarmee je snel aan de slag gaat. Je installeert een dj programma, zoals Rekordbox, en gaat gelijk aan de slag met mixen. In de meeste dj programma's vind je streamingdiensten waaruit je liedjes gebruikt voor het mixen. Met één knop mix je nummers zoals professionals dat doen. Zo laat je 2 nummers vloeiend in elkaar overlopen of leg je nadruk op een deel van het nummer. Je luistert met de koptelefoon naar wat je mixt. Hierdoor bereid je je mix voor, voordat het publiek het hoort. De koptelefoon heeft een frequentiebereik van 5 tot 30.000 Hz, waardoor je gedetailleerd geluid hoort. Zo luister je kritisch naar wat je mixt.
